Customer Reviews: THIS CONSOLE SHIELD IS GREAT This console shield is great. It helps protect your playstation portable from scratches or if you accidentally drop it. It screws right on and can screw off also if need be. Great product.
Excellent case for the price! I’ve used a Logitech Playgear case, Nyko Screen Armor, and the stock PSP case and this one is the one I use for a simple reason: Its the most portable, it works brilliantly and it protects my PSP from my pocket. The thing screws on tight and twists and turns just about any way you’d ever want it to. You can use it as a grip for your PSP or you can keep it up and hold your PSP like normal. My only gripe is that it doesn’t push firm up against the screen (Since the buttons are in the way. It may not afford the best protection towards pocket change or shock (Like the Logitech Playgear) but it will easily fit in your pocket, and when you want to play, just flip the screen up.
I couldn’t stand fumbling with a case, this is what I wanted. Something I didn’t have to take off
Also the screen protector (Like all other screen protectors) detracts greatly from the screen, so I haven’t used it.
GOOD PRODUCT I bought this product in need of a good cover for my psp and so far i love it but at first there was one issue i had with it is that when i put it on i had put it on to tight and so when i tried to open the slot to put the games in it would open but not close. After a minute of playing around with i loosed it a little, not too much that it wobbled but enough that i could open and close the game slot. So there is my advice, enjoy
4 unique functions and a stylish design. Includes LCD screen protector. I buy everything for my PSP, I want to trick it out. This product is very cool, it does so much. If you twist it one way it can protect your screen. You can even put it in your backpack. Twist it around and flip it, it becomes a movie stand to set on any table. The installation screws into the top of the PSP very securely, make sure it faces the right way, then install as solid as a rock.
The LCD protector it comes with is a true bonus. Ive seen these protectors sell for $9.99 by itself. Its included inside. Like any LCD protector, there’s 2 ways to stick it on. Follow the directions ensure you doing it right. Then your screen will be crystal clear and protected. I can even tell that PSP has it on.
Anyways, too much talking now, gotta get back to gaming.
disappointing! Based on the review I read, this protective case looked like the best pick. Boy was I wrong! First of all, I did not think the product description was clear about what the product includes. It includes: A black visor (that is also a stand and cover) and a stick on screen protector. The screen protector makes the image look grainy; the only good thing is that you can take it off easily and still reaply it later (unless you get dust on the side that goes against the screen, this is impossible to get off). The black visor screws into the two small holes on the top of your psp (you can twist them on with your fingers). It is wobbly when it is on, due to the many functions it is supposed to do. It does not clip at all when it is down, and so is not at all a secure screen protector. I can see how it would be useful as a sun visor, but there are many other products that are better made that also have this use.
